Our Commercial Electrical Testing Services
Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)
An EICR is a thorough inspection and test of your fixed electrical installation: wiring, consumer units, sockets, switches, and earthing. Required every 3-5 years for commercial properties. We issue a full report with any observations coded C1 (immediate danger), C2 (potential danger), or C3 (improvement recommended).
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
PAT testing checks the safety of portable electrical appliances in your workplace. While not a strict legal requirement, PAT testing is the most practical way to demonstrate compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. We test and label all appliances and provide a full itemised report.
Fixed Wire Testing
Fixed wire testing (also known as periodic inspection) assesses the condition of fixed electrical circuits: cables, connections, switchgear, and distribution equipment. Essential for large commercial properties, factories, and facilities with complex electrical installations.
Emergency Lighting Testing
Emergency lighting must be tested monthly (function test) and annually (full duration test) under BS 5266. We carry out all required testing, maintain a log book, and issue certificates of compliance.
Fire Alarm Testing
Fire alarm systems must be tested weekly (manual call point) and formally tested by a competent engineer every 6 months under BS 5839. We test, service, and certify fire detection and alarm systems for commercial properties across London.
